About the Course

The Department of Computer Science & Engineering at G. L. Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management, Greater Noida was established in the year 2005 with a vision to help the IT boom and fulfil the need of dynamic Software Engineers globally. The Department is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India and Affiliated to Dr. Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (APJAKTU), Lucknow (Formerly UPTU Lucknow). Since then, especially in the last twenty years of the IT revolution, the department has taken long strides and is now among one of the best departments in the institute. The Department aims to nurture students in terms of modern computer techniques and to prepare them to cope well with the technical advancements in future for industry requirements. Computer Science being the flagship branch of Engineering takes focus in scientific research, scientific programming, and software engineering.

The Department emphasizes cutting-edge and future-ready technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Robotics, Machine Learning, Internet of Things (IoT), Genetic Research, Bioinformatics, Big Data and DevOps, Blockchain, Augmented and Virtual Reality, Drones, Quantum Computing, Product Design Technology, Cyber Security, Full-Stack Development, Cloud Computing, Automation, Gaming, and related emerging domains.

UPTAC Counselling

Eligibility for admission through UPTAC counselling is based on AKTU norms.

Direct Admission

For admission to First Year of B.Tech:

The candidate must have passed the intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination from any recognized board/university;

Minimum Eligibility

45% (40% for SC/ST)

in aggregate of required subjects.
